Cookie Policy

We use cookies to make our site easier and more intuitive. The data collected thanks to cookies is used to make the browsing experience more enjoyable and more efficient in the future.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files sent from the site to the terminal of the person concerned (usually to the browser), where they are stored and then transmitted back to the site the next visit of the same user. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from the user’s hard drive or transmit computer viruses or acquire email addresses. Each cookie is unique to the user’s web browser. Some of the functions of cookies can be passed on to other technologies. In this document with the term ‘cookie’ we want to refer both to cookies, properly said, and to all similar technologies.

Type of cookies

Cookies can be first or third party, where “first part” refers to cookies that report the site as a domain, while “third party” means cookies that are related to external domains.

Third-party cookies are necessarily installed by an external entity, always defined as “third party”, not managed by the site. These individuals can possibly also install first-party cookies, saving their cookies on the site domain.

Another type of cookie is the so-called “Flash Cookies” (Local Shared Objects), used within Adobe Flash Player to deliver certain content, such as video clips or animations, in order to remember the settings and preferences. Flash cookies are stored on the device, but are managed through a different interface than the one provided by the browser used.

Cookie nature

With regard to the nature of cookies, there are several types:

Technical cookies
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “transmitting a communication on an electronic communication network, or to the extent strictly necessary to the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such a service” (see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).

They are not used for further purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They can be divided into:

  • Browsing or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and enjoyment of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access reserved areas); they are in fact necessary for the proper functioning of the site;
  • Cookie analytics, assimilated to technical cookies where used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself, in order to improve the performance of the site;
  • Feature cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same. For the installation of such cookies is not required the prior consent of the users (more information in the section Managing cookies below).

Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are intended to create profiles related to the user and are used in order to send advertisements in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the context of web browsing.

The consent of the person concerned is required for the use of profiling cookies. According to the measure (more information in the section Managing cookies below) the user can authorize or deny consent to the installation of cookies through the options provided in the “Managing cookies” section.

In the case of third-party cookies, the site does not have direct control of individual cookies and cannot control them (it cannot either install them directly or delete them). You can still manage these cookies through your browser settings (follow the instructions below), or the sites listed in the “Managing cookies” section.

You are therefore invited to check on the third party site shown in the following table.

Cookie duration

Cookies have a duration dictated by the expiration date (or a specific action such as closing the browser) set at the time of installation.
Cookies can be:
Temporary or session cookies: they are used to store temporary information, link actions performed during a specific session, and are removed from the computer when the browser is closed;
Persistent cookies: They are used to store information, such as their login name and password, so that the user doesn’t have to retype them every time they visit a specific site. These remain stored on your computer even after you close your browser.

Managing cookies

In relation to the directives of the Code on the Protection of Personal Data (d.l. 30 June 2003, No. 196, below ‘Code’) and, in particular, Articles. 13, paragraph 3 and 122, paragraph 1 and in reference to the measure of Identification of simplified ways for informative and acquiring consent for the use of cookies – 8 May 2014 (Published in the Official Journal No. 126 of 3 June 2014), you can change the consent to cookies directly from this link – cookie management at any time.

Bakery Mulara will keep appropriate track of the user’s consent through a special technical cookie, considered by the Privacy Guarantor a “not particularly invasive” tool. You may deny your consent and/or change your options regarding the use of cookies by this Website at all times, through access to this Privacy Statement which is “linkable” from every page of this Site.

You may at any time exercise the rights recognized by art. 7 of the D.Lgs. 196/2003 and by The European Regulation No.2016/679 and, in particular, among others, to obtain copies of the data processed, their updating, their origin, purpose and manner of processing, their correction or integration, their cancellation, the transformation anonymously or the blockade for treatment in violation of the law and to oppose for legitimate reasons to the treatment.
